Schronisko pod Muflonem

Schronisko pod Muflonem is a mountain hostel located in the Bystrzyckie Mountains at an altitude of 690 m above sea level, near Duszniki-Zdrój. It is a popular destination for hikers, families, and groups. The facility has an on-site restaurant and bar, ideal after a day on the trails. The hostel takes its name from a mouflon head mounted in the dining room. An old ash tree called 'Bolko' grows next to the building. Its history dates back to the first half of the 19th century, when a dairy restaurant was opened on a farm. By the end of the 19th century, it turned into a beer pub and soon began accommodating guests. A toboggan run operated here until the 1970s. Nearby, the Muflon-Ski ski station offers winter activities. Several hiking trails lead to the hostel, including blue and yellow routes from Duszniki-Zdrój.
