Krasiczyn Castle is a Renaissance and Mannerist magnate residence located in the village of Krasiczyn in the Subcarpathian region, a few kilometers from Przemyśl. The building was erected on a rectangular plan with four corner towers, surrounded by a moat and a picturesque park with old trees. The castle's history dates back to the 16th century, when Stanisław Krasicki began its construction, and his son Marcin gave it its current shape. Over the centuries, the residence changed hands, belonging among others to the Tarło, Potocki, and Sapieha families, and suffered from wars and a fire. Today, after renovation, the castle is open to visitors with guided tours. The interiors are devoid of furnishings but retain their original character. In the courtyard, one can see a shell from World War I hanging on a chain. The towers bear the names: Divine, Papal, Royal, and Noble, reflecting the social order of the time. The castle is surrounded by a park with oaks and lindens planted by the Sapiehas. This place is interesting for history, architecture, and nature enthusiasts, offering a peaceful walk and a lesson in Polish history.
