Polesie National Park
Polesie National Park is a vast, marshy protected area in the eastern part of the Lublin Voivodeship, near the town of Urszulin. The park is famous for its swamps, peat bogs, and numerous bird species, including cranes. Several nature trails are available for visitors, including the free educational path Czahary, which largely runs along wooden boardwalks adapted for strollers and people with disabilities. Along the route, there are observation towers offering views of the extensive marshes and the surrounding area. In Urszulin itself, the park's headquarters is located, with an information point where you can buy tickets for the paid trails as well as maps and guidebooks. Inside the building, you can also see small European pond turtles that are bred here. The park also offers toilets, parking, and a café. It is an ideal place for a family outing into nature, suitable for both young children and the elderly. It is worth spending at least half a day to calmly walk the chosen routes and enjoy the silence and closeness of nature.
