Nowa Sól - Świętobór - Sława
Nowa Sól – Świętobór – Sława is a family-friendly destination in the Lubusz Voivodeship, near Sława. The main attraction is the recreational clearing of Świętobór by the village of Święte, featuring the wooden observation tower 'Joanna', about 40 meters high. From the top, visitors can admire a panorama of forests and lakes, including Lake Sławskie. The clearing offers a playground, a large tourist shelter with a designated campfire area, and ten colorful educational boards about nature. Nearby, there is a horse stable that children especially enjoy. The tower was built as part of a project by the Sława Śląska Forest District from 2013–2015, co-financed by EU funds, aimed at protecting Natura 2000 areas. Afterwards, it is worth visiting Sława, a town on Lake Sławskie, known for its numerous holiday resorts, campsites, and sailing clubs. The area features hiking trails, including green and yellow trails, as well as nature-forest paths. The lake is perfect for sailors and anglers, and in winter, iceboat races and skating competitions take place. This place offers peace, beautiful views, and contact with nature, and entry to the clearing and tower is free.
