📍 Lewin Kłodzki, PL🕒 Up to 1 hour

The railway viaduct in Lewin Kłodzki is one of the largest and most beautifully integrated viaducts in Lower Silesia. It was designed and built by Italian engineers. The structure is 120 meters long and 27 meters high, and its arch blends picturesquely into the panorama of the town, making it one of the most frequently photographed landmarks in the area. In 2005, the residents of the commune funded a commemorative plaque, which was embedded at the base of the viaduct to honor its builders on the 100th anniversary of its construction. After a break of several years, rail connections on the route from Kłodzko to Kudowa-Zdrój were resumed in December 2013. Traveling by train to Lewin Kłodzki is a real pleasure, as the line runs through scenic landscapes, including about half a kilometer under the massif of Grodziec near Kulin Kłodzki. The viaduct is accessible all year round and is an excellent destination for walks and photography. It is an interesting place for both architecture enthusiasts and those who want to admire the beauty of the Sudetes landscape.
