Spa Park in Kudowa-Zdrój
The Spa Park in Kudowa-Zdrój is a charming place that attracts both tourists and residents. It houses the Mineral Water Pump Room with a Concert Hall, where you can admire frescoes by A. Molnar depicting Lower Silesia from the early 20th century. Opposite, at the foot of Parkowa Mountain, stands a building called Zameczek, erected in 1772, now serving as a sanatorium. Next to it, the impressive Polonia Sanatorium dominates, housing the S. Moniuszko Spa Theatre. The park also features a large open walking hall, known as the Teatr pod Blachą, which is a venue for cultural events and concerts. Nearby, there is a bust of Stanisław Moniuszko, whose music has resounded here annually for 42 years during the Moniuszko Festival. On the western side, the park is enclosed by a picturesque pond, and just beyond it lies the border crossing with the Czech Republic. It is an ideal place for a relaxing stroll, admiring exotic plants such as agaves, cacti, or rhododendrons, and for participating in cultural events. The park is welcoming to everyone – families with children, seniors, couples, and groups.
