Bear Cave is one of the most beautiful and longest caves in Poland, located in the Śnieżnik Massif, near the village of Kletno in Lower Silesia. The entrance is situated about 800 meters above sea level, on the right slope of the Kleśnica stream valley. A picturesque path leads from the parking lot to the cave, and the walk takes about 30 minutes. The cave is famous for its exceptionally well-preserved speleothems, formed in marble rocks over millions of years. During the tour, visitors can admire stalactites, flowstone fields, and unique crystals. The tourist route is about 360 meters long and runs through well-lit, paved corridors, so there is no need to squeeze through narrow passages. Visiting is only possible with a guide and takes about 45 minutes. Along the way, you can see, among others, a chamber with a skeleton of a cave bear. The temperature inside is constant at about 6°C, so it is advisable to bring warmer clothing. Due to the protection of the microclimate, the number of visitors per entry is limited, so it is recommended to book tickets in advance online. This attraction is suitable for families and groups, as well as for anyone who wants to explore the underground world of the Sudetes.
