📍 Kraków, PL🕒 4+ hours

The Kraków Wyspiańskiego route is a walking trail of 8.5 km that leads through places connected with the life and work of Stanisław Wyspiański, an outstanding artist of the Young Poland movement. It starts in Kraków and takes about five hours to complete, making it suitable for people with an average level of fitness. Along the way, you can see, among others, the Church on the Rock (Skałka) with the Crypt of the Distinguished, where Wyspiański was buried, and the House of Długosz, where the artist's father worked. Further points include the tenement house of the Medical Society with interior design by Wyspiański and its famous staircase, as well as the Szołayski Tenement House, which houses the Stanisław Wyspiański Museum. The route also includes the Nowodworski Collegium, which the artist attended, and the Franciscan Church with his stained-glass windows, including the famous 'God the Father – Creation of the World'. At the end, it is worth seeing the monument to Wyspiański in front of the National Museum. The trail is interesting both for art lovers and for those who want to learn about the history of Kraków.
