Muskau Park

Muskau Park is an extensive landscape park located in Bad Muskau in Saxony, right on the border with Poland, and also includes areas on the Polish side in Łęknica. It was designed in the 19th century by Prince Hermann von Pückler-Muskau, who created a masterpiece of garden art inspired by landscape painting. The park is famous for its picturesque compositions, where the foreground, middle ground, and background harmoniously blend together, creating unique views. The site is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is considered one of the most important examples of European garden art. Visitors can stroll along the paths, admire the New Palace with its castle tower, and enjoy permanent and temporary exhibitions. Guided tours are also available, and the area is wheelchair accessible. Admission to the park is free, and there are parking facilities and public transport stops nearby.
