Trafalgar
Trafalgar is a viewpoint located in Borowy Jar in Jelenia Góra, on a hill on the left bank of the Bóbr River, along the so-called Poets' Path on the green trail. It rises to an altitude of 410 m above sea level and offers a picturesque panorama of the city lying in the valley. Its name comes from the rock on which it is situated. On the right side of the rock, there is a white inscription reading 'Trafalgar Fels', which means 'Trafalgar Rock' in German, with the date 1923 below. This spot was once a popular subject of postcards and photographs showcasing the beauty of Borowy Jar. The viewpoint is secured with railings, ensuring safety while admiring the views. It can be reached via the green trail from Jelenia Góra, from the direction of the Bobrowice III power plant, or from a parking area by national road no. 30, behind the 'ROŻEN' bar. It is an ideal place for hiking enthusiasts and those seeking to relax in nature while enjoying a broad panorama of the surroundings.
