Piwna 47 Food&Wine Bar

Piwna 47 Food&Wine Bar is an elegant restaurant and wine bar located in the heart of Gdańsk's Old Town, right next to St. Mary's Basilica. It occupies a historic building from 1920, which once housed a photography studio. The interiors, decorated in a Provençal style with great attention to detail, create a cozy and exclusive atmosphere. Guests can enjoy two floors, with the upper one offering a view of the square in front of the basilica, as well as a glass winter garden, open even in winter. In summer, there is a charming outdoor seating area, which was awarded for being the most beautiful gastronomic garden in 2018. The cuisine features European dishes with Mediterranean and Polish accents, based on local, seasonal products. The menu includes veal dumplings, pink duck breast, wild boar bacon, seasonal cold soup (chłodnik), and grilled dorade served whole. The restaurant specializes in wines, mainly French, as well as signature cocktails and Gdańsk spirits like Goldwasser and Machandel.
