Czarny Staw – Park Czecha Nowickiego

Czarny Staw is a recreational park in Duszniki-Zdrój, established at the end of the 19th century for spa guests. After the flood of 1998, it underwent a thorough renovation, gaining new plantings, paths, and a renovated building that now houses a restaurant and water equipment rental. On warm days, visitors can go boating, and the pond is also made available to the local angling club. The park bears the name of Major Pilot Czech Nowicki, a WWII hero, with a commemorative plaque unveiled in 2009. It is a peaceful spot for a short walk, appealing to families and those seeking outdoor relaxation.
