Butorowy Wierch Chairlift
The Butorowy Wierch Chairlift is a year-round cable car running from Kościelisko to the summit of Butorowy Wierch in the Gubałówka Range. Opened in 1978 and operated by Polskie Koleje Linowe S.A., the lift spans 1,619 meters with a vertical rise of 272 meters (from 886 m to 1,158 m above sea level). It features 200 two-person chairs and can carry up to 700 passengers per hour. The ride offers stunning views of the Tatra Mountains, especially during the descent. From 1978 to 1995, it was part of the Butorowy Wierch ski resort. Today, it is a year-round tourist attraction suitable for families and mountain scenery enthusiasts. A visit to the top station takes less than an hour, and the ticket price is moderate.
