Tatrzańskie Archiwum Planety Ziemia Kościelisko

📍 Kościelisko, PL🕒 1–3 hours

The Tatra Archive of Planet Earth is a modern educational museum of the Tatra National Park, located at the mouth of the Kościeliska Valley in Kościelisko. The facility was deliberately built underground to preserve the scenic landscape. Visitors explore seven interactive rooms that reveal the history of the Tatra Mountains, Earth, and life on our planet. Highlights include life-sized models of a dinosaur and a cave bear, reconstructed from fossils found in the Tatras. The final room invites guests to venture onto Tatra trails, where the mountains become a living extension of the exhibition. The museum combines science with modern technology and is wheelchair accessible. Tours are guided and conducted in groups. It is an excellent destination for families, children, and school trips. Public transport stops and parking lots are within walking distance.
