Bear Cave
Bear Cave in Kletno (Stronie Śląskie) is one of the most beautiful caves in Poland, located in the Śnieżnik Massif. It is famous for its rich and well-preserved speleothems – stalactites, stalagmites, columns, and draperies. The site is a nature reserve, so the last section (about 20 minutes) must be covered on foot. Visits are guided only and require advance reservation. For families and people with disabilities, there is a tourist route over 360 m long, lit and comfortable. For the adventurous, an extreme route is available – a 3-hour expedition through the lower parts, where you have to squeeze through narrow crevices (test: 25 cm). Facilities include toilets, a café, and a gift shop. The cave is open seasonally, and the number of entries is limited to protect the microclimate.
