Bear Cave in Kletno

Bear Cave in Kletno is the longest cave in the Sudetes, with a total corridor length of about 5 km. It is located in the village of Kletno, in the Stronie Śląskie commune, Lower Silesia. Its name comes from numerous remains of cave bears and other Ice Age animals found inside. The cave develops horizontally on three levels, and the tourist route runs through the middle one, where visitors can admire rich speleothems and displayed bones. The tour covers approximately 500 meters of passages and chambers. The site is suitable for families, school trips, and individual tourists. Admission is charged, and visits are guided. The cave is open from Tuesday to Sunday, 9:00 AM to 4:40 PM. Access by car via voivodeship road 392 through Janowa Góra village. Paid parking and toilets are available on site.
